This valley is just magic. It’s between Derwentwater and Thirlmere (any LD experts know the actual name?) – this vast line of majestic Fells, lit up as the sun waned. I loved the scale this tiny white house leant the looming slopes behind. After half a day of rain, this sunlight was pure joy.
