I follow a lot of Lake District photographers and they talk about the mythical ‘Inversion’….in basic (probably half-arsed) terms, cold air sits beneath high pressure so the clouds don’t rise. I think. Something like that anyway : ) It’s such a beautiful thing – I caught one this morning, looking down across the Drummin Pines towards Greystones. The whole ocean was blanketed under soft, swirling cloud.
