The dawn this morning was a pretty special one. I was so close to staying in bed – it was raining, for a start, and the car had about 15k of petrol in it. But there were breaks in the tattered clouds, so I hopped in the car, hopeful. About 10 minutes before the sun crested the sky just lit up crimson and gold. I alternated between these super wide shots and tiny macros, just trying to catch this light. Loved the contrast between the tiny spider weaving her web under the rising sun and the vast landscape beyond her.
