I love these creatures. I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen one this close – and each time I’ve had a camera handy. This guy flew past me a couple of days ago.  I was half asleep in the sun. I grabbed the camera and inched towards him,  perched on this bush. His wings caught the sunlight like stained glass. He stayed still for maybe 15 seconds, and then he was gone. Was so chuffed to catch him this close.
